Monotypes are fine art prints, each one is an original. This process is a combination of drawing, painting and printing. Colored inks are applied in layers with brushes and rollers onto a plexiglass plate. When complete, the image is transfered onto a sheet of handmade paper. Color layers as well as the image are reversed, creating effects that are unique to a monotype.
